Production must have had some $$ as both this Oldsmobile and the Camaro (in the last thumbnail in night cub's above post) were brand new models that are destroyed in this chase scene. When I was growing up, our family had a light "yellowish/tanish" colored 1980 Oldsmobile Cutlass somewhat like this.
