01-21-13 On voit le sigle "XJ8" quelques secondes plus tard |

It's a Jaguar XJ6. Not a Jaguar XJ8. |

As I said in french, the XJ8 label is visible few seconds later. What makes you think it is a XJ6 rather than a XJ8 ? |

La calandre n'est pas celle d'une XJ8... Les proportions ne sont pas "accurate" de celles d'une XJ8, bien plus aplatie. Recherche sur GG image CQFD... |

This car was, of course, destroyed In fact it exploded. |

it's common for older xj's and xj40's to get exploded and destroyed in movies |

I guess they're like the rich man's Ford Tempo. |

@l300: because used Jaguars are cheap to buy. There is nearly no market for them. The running costs (service, spare parts, insurance, tax, fuel...) are very high, too high for people, who are buying used cars. So you can be sur for over 90%: when you see an Jaguar in German movies (an American, too), it will be destroyed anyhow. -- Last edit: 2009-04-17 12:37:52 |

1973+ wheels What's going on with the bootlid? Looks as if it's been gouged by a digger bucket or a chain saw?? No damage evident in other shots. |

^ There's nothing going on with the car here other than Steve Zahn's character looking at it. It certainly looks odd, but I'd wager that's a reflection of the tree next to the car. |
