Its could be a water tender adapted for airport use as a water bowser (therefore some years old) and possibly the heavier Karrier Gamecock 3-4 ton if not the Bantam 2 ton (or Commer equivalent). Good find , it is very fire tender like. Airports always seem to have plenty of cash to spend on special vehicles like this. Suppose compared to price of aircraft or damage thereto they are cheap as chips ! Also they seem to have very long lives due to low mileage and good maintenance. -- Last edit: 2014-05-16 10:43:32 |
