Any closer views from the front panel or the little round badge on the A-pillar? It's one of the last, most probable a Multivan. It can be a "Bluestar", but also a "Limited Last Edition" ( http://www.lle-kartei.de/ ). The "LLE" has its own number as stickers on the front doors and the front panel. |

when its a multivan, isn´t it a Caravelle? and when so a Carat? http://autopixx.de/bilder/1nkkkIMP/vw-t3-caravelle-carat.jpg looks pretty like full-fat version anyway -- Last edit: 2012-06-19 13:27:06 |

The LLE's were all Multivans: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/VW_T3#Limited_Last_Edition_.28LLE.29 Ah! And as the Bluestar and Redstar (nothing written about the Whitestar ) built in Austria. -- Last edit: 2012-06-19 13:27:17 |

By the colour, i'm fairly certain '89-'90 Multivan Bluestar (built on Hannover plant). /vehicle.php?id=485210 AFAIK, '91/'92 LLE Bleustar orlyblau-metallic is slightly darker. |

The Bluestar has the name on the front panel and the backdoor: Link to "static1.www.vw-bulli.de" A LLE: http://www.t1busfan.de/tl_files/fotos/lle/lle_0188.jpg |

So just a regular Multivan? I cannot see the "Bluestar"-sign, the LLE-number-sticker neither: |

As a fried, who restores a "Redstar" right now. has told me, where a few more T3 built after the "Limited Last Edition"-series. So Wiki is wrong, too. Ca.600 to 700 "Redstar", plus a little handful of "Whitestar" were assembled in the following weeks - all in Graz at MagnaSteyr. The "LLE"-series was reserved for Volkswagen-employees, not offered officially at VW-dealerships. After these 2500 LLEs were made, there were some interested people left over, also all VW-workers. They complained intensively, so the management made the decision "O.k., there are some bits left over in the Graz-plant, so they shall made some more to content the complainers. The difference to other very late/after the end-built models (as for example the K 70s from 1975), those very last T3 were correctly equipped (even fully equipped), and not haphazardly cobbled left-overs. |
