The epitome of the British unstoppable woman, the peerless Jean Anderson astride a ladies' bike (Raleigh?) fitted with a Cyclemaster powered rear wheel. The registration number, which was then a compulsory requirement for anything that was powered, dates from September to November 1952, and was issued by Hertfordshire County Council. Another model of "fizzwheel" was the BSA Winged Wheel, and there was also Cyclaid which fitted above the wheel like a Velosolex. http://www.flickr.com/photos/homer----simpson/4884430249/ -- Last edit: 2012-06-07 11:00:20 |

Roundsman refers to a tradesman’s bicycle with a small front wheel and a carrier for goods. This is not such a thing. https://cyclemaster.wordpress.com/page-18-maw-on-adler-cycle/ -- Last edit: 2021-02-12 13:20:24 |
