Nah, maybe a Dodge C-300 from 1958-1960. I'm a little more interested in the girl myself. -- Last edit: 2012-06-07 04:27:43 |

If it is a Dodge, the classification is D-300, not C-300 - and it looks closer to the '65s than the '58/60. It also looks as if it could pass for a 1962-1966 Chevrolet C-30. At any rate, it can't be questioned that it's an ex-McArthur Dairy vehicle, like these: http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t300/gorusty/IMG00037.jpg http://assets.bizjournals.com/story_image/56253.jpg?v=2 There are a surprising amount of them in Miami, as the local McArthur distributor used them for ages (see second photo) until selling them off. Some of the local subcontractors have since bought them and continue to use them regularly, some in better condition than others: http://lew-cabintalk.blogspot.com/2009/07/dairy-truck.html I'll say one thing: The mere fact of knowing that this particular set is outdoors (this is the exterior of Bertram Boat Yard from the north side - the hotel lobby interior set is in this particular building) and visible from a public roadway drives me nuts - a 10 minute drive at the right moment would have given us a front-end ID of this truck. -Kurt P.S.: Bike is a 1957 Schwinn Corvette w/2-speed kickback rear hub. -- Last edit: 2012-08-16 05:14:56 |

1954-60's were C-Series though. |

If that's so, someone has to start cleaning up the Dodge D-300 section: /vehicles_make-Dodge_model-D-300.html -Kurt |
