The Los Angeles Department of Transportation says the fleet number is 97921. Do they have a list of makes and models we can check on, like LACMTA does? |

Fleet number 92721 means, that bus is from 1992. Could be some TMC RTS-06 - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Los_Angeles_Department_of_Transportation |

Is this a genuine LADOT bus? According to IMDb, this movie was filmed in Atlanta, Georgia. |

Nope. Jale's assessment is correct. LADOT doesn't even run RTSes anymore. |

As far as I know, the only RTSes run by LADOT were retired LACMTA units that kept their original numbers in the 1200-1300 series. These also had push-out doors (flat, not flush with the body), different side windows, and didn't have the triangular "porkchop" window at the back. This is probably an older GMC RTS. |

This was a 1986 GMC RTS owned by a Atlanta-area movie vehicle contractor. |
