The only things that, in teory, would say 760 are the coulor, the alloys and the chrome strip in the middle of the rear lamps. But the metallic coulor could be choosen to any engine, the alloys were sold as optional extras when not fitted original to 240 GLT and Turbo, 740 Turbo and GLT 16 Valve, and the chrome strip was original fittings to 740 GLE. How can you see that this is a 760 and not a 740?
