Bob Dieck ◊ 2006-01-01 20:27	It is very difficult to find from one front picture what year is the car. It only can be 220 S/SE, or 300 SE, because the movie was shot in 65. The differences between 220 and 300 are some chrommed strips along body and wheel arches, which were usually taken off from 3o0 for racing and then resembling equal to 220. The remaining difference was a very discrete '300' on the rear column air outlet, This finiture was not removed for racing and you will be able to see Bohringer driving some of these cars.
BeanBandit ◊ 2006-07-25 23:09	That's not Eugen Böhringer, car has Finnish license plates and very distinctive paint job. Driver is Onni Vilkas (1910 - 1999) and car he drove at this time was indeed 300SE.

JussiW ◊ 2011-01-10 22:30	Car in question is definately 220 Seb and the year this picture was taken is 1966. His starting no. in 1965 was 53 with the very same vehicle.
