My guestimate : 1951 Cadillac "Series 62" convertible (90% sure) although it has udertones from 1948-1951. The stone guard behind the front wheel opening suggests the 1948 or 1949. However, the instrument panel eliminates the year 1948 and the front clip takes care of the 1949 models, leaving a choice between 1950 and 1951. The trim beneath the headlights is confusing as it looks like a 1950 model on the right and a 1951 model on the left. The interior door panel design eliminates the 1950 models. They are similar but not exactly the same as the 1951 inner door panels. |

I agree with the years, but it's strange how the front door seems to be short, like of a 61 rather than a 62. But I know there was no convertible in the 61 line in these years, so it must be a 62. |

Another thing I noticed is that the rear ensemble appears to be from a 1950 Cadillac (the tail-lights and the round reversing lights positioned on either side of the "Continental" spare wheel). All in all, therefore, this is a Cadillac "hash-job", put together with parts from 1948/49, 1950 and 1951. |
