Dual rear wheels come on the 350. To pair up the wheels the rims are offset so the tires do not rub together. This requires an adapter to the front hub to accept this type wheel. If you look at a side view of a 1 ton series (350 Ford) the center of the front wheel extends outward and the center of the rear wheel extends inward. Additionally the 1/2 ton Fords have 5 lug hubs while the 3/4 and 1 ton models have 8 lub hubs with full floater rear axles. The full floater axle requires different hub caps or wheel covers. To summarize the 150/250/350 have very different hubs, wheels, hub caps, axles, wheel covers, and overall vehicle stance. Jim |
