Just browsing this fine set of pics and surprised the Commer BF ice cream van not listed as seems to play a part, and seen with three other vehicles listed . -- Last edit: 2014-04-08 17:57:21 |

/vehicle_114572-Karrier-1-Ton.html They were based on both Karrier and Commer models, depending I guess how Smiths Mobile Shops purchased them at the time. 'Karrier' in 1960s promotional Rootes advertising is found on the web. |

Should have thought of that option ! always think of these as Commers -- Last edit: 2014-04-08 22:18:22 |

Crayford or not, it's still a Ford. Ford Consul Corsair Convertible by Crayford. Crayford is not a make, it's a coachbuilder/converter. -- Last edit: 2014-04-08 23:14:38 |

I don't see a rear side window, and with the semi-furled hood, I think this maybe a Crayford Corsair Cabriolet (19 made, converted on their behalf by Karl Deutsch in Germany) rather than the normal Convertible (199 made). Info here and here (scroll down) |
