Bumper is from a S1 (1983-86), mirrors are from a S2 (1987-94)

why 17trd how can this be deducted from the pictures? and if it would be a 17trd the correct type would be trd turbo!

@DIEHARD, I'm not so sure they used the 17 nomenclature, rather just TRD Turbo?

Main picture has Series 1 bumper (as mentioned) and a 'long' bonnet/hood (@john, I know...), the TRD Turbo would have a 'short' bonnet for better cooling

No problem here, its a French car so it can have what it likes. The problem occurs with British drophead coupés, where mention of a disappearing hood might cause confusion.

Indeed it should be "TRD TURBO" according to Citroën, or "TZD TURBO" if it is after 1989. The registration offices from several countries however do not always have the same name as Citroën itself.

Could be a car which previously had damage hence the long bonnet and wrong bumper..

IIRC the bumpers are of different shape and will not fit - especially where the rear parts are to connect with the wing/fender

Bonnet was a mix and match - except if you had an intercooler channel, I can't remember if they were removable

Btw, plate is dated 1998 so was likely had it and the front replaced after a crash.

If have seen them fit..bit of a hassle and some cutting in the iron but it can be done...
There is actually a patern in the bonnets. But it is hard to see it since official documentation uses wrong photos sometimes.
Rules are at least: GTI always a short hood, BX14 always a long one. Others I would have to check.

All 19 and turbo diesel at least would require more air. What I meant was if you need a replacement you could use long or short hood lip, they would fit (with their respective grille part) but you may need to watch the temp then.

Theorically, being a 1990, should be TZD Turbo since it replaced the TRD Turbo in November 1989, but maybe it was a TRD registered later (the first time, since here it sports a 1998 plate). I don't have the app that gives the details, but from tax agency site plate gives indeed a 66kW Turbodiesel and it's still registered! :)

wow still registered! Could be a sleeping one though? @tore-40 Yeah, they would fit counterwise any of them. They also has metal and plastic hoods and you could replace those one all cars aswell. I replace my long 14 hood with a short one. My 19TGD had a metal long one.
