It was a surprsing sight, when I spotted an ALDI at my US-driveaway-trip in 1993, and then in Lafayetteville/AR)  - the heartland of Walmart, as I've learned due an interesting reportage on an US-channel last week. Btw. There's still one "made for ALDI"-product left in our food locker. Longer rear badge. According to 2nd edition of this book (which was translation of this one), since model 1992 rear right badge was expanded with the engine size. Ofc. in such books they also made mistakes sometimes, but quick reserach among pics of 1991 and 1992 Tipos seems to confirm what is written there. -- Last edit: 2017-08-20 20:09:46 |

Glass's has minor ("New Tipo") range refresh in Jan 92 which seems to be trivial - renaming some trim levels and tilt-slide sunroof now optional on more levels. Then June/July 92 another refresh - most/all models getting single-point fuel-injection and catalyst, some models getting tints, colour-keyed bumpers and other small interior tweaks. |

These June/July '92 changes (catalyst and "injection") fit to what was already considered "model year 1993" (FIAT used to introduce next MYs around these months). Although it could looks differently on different markets, to the 1992 (pre-1993 MY) external modifications can be also added, new wheelcovers and in SX version foglamps became standard equipment. More changes were inside, but also rather details. |
