It is a similar halftrack to this one: /vehicle_34377-Krauss-Maffei-Typ-KM-m-11.html -- probably even the same vehicle. But I think I have to rename it. I checked some books (which I intended to do some month ago) and am quite certain that it is the next larger halftrack to the Sd.Kfz.7, the Sd.Kfz.8. The full name is: Daimler-Benz Typ DB 10 (s. Zgkw. 12t - Sd.Kfz.8). Production for the DB 10 version starte in 1939 und lasted until 1944. It was also being built under licence by Krauss-Maffei, Krupp, and Škoda (until 1945). |
