Or this Renault 10 Major? /vehicle_475686-Mercedes-Benz-E-Klasse-W220-1996.html More likely with vents in the back hood. |

Apparently a German series. I can't imagine there are many Buicks in Germany, particularly from the 1990s. |

In fact it's the only Buick, which was sold more or less officially in Germany in the 90ies. This one /vehicle.php?id=67583 , I've spotted yesterday, not. As mentioned before, you had the chance to purchase new Buicks or other US-GM-cars at some big Opel-dealers, but only on special request. This Park Avenue was indeed the only one, with which GM made annother try to get a foot on the German market (after the 1978+ Camaro and Caprice). |

Very interesting.I couldnt find mention of that in Wikipedia. They just mentioned Mexico, the Middle East, Taiwan and China.Maybe their German precense was too brief and small to include... |

It wasn't just Germany. Back in the late 1980s, when the US$ exchange rate was more tolerable for european currencies, Chrysler decided to go back to Europe, and GM followed soon after. But when Chrysler focused its range on two brands, Chrysler and Jeep, GM brought along Chevrolet, Cadillac, Pontiac and Buick, with an inconsistant range that fluctuated from country to country. Still, the Park Avenue was the sole Buick available in most territories. |
