I cannot see the grille insert clearly. I am defaulting as 1969/70 Chevrolet C-10. |

I tried to enhanced the thumbnail, but I am unable to tell the grille insert style. My initial assessment still stands. |

@rjluna2: at least a 127"/3.23 m long C-10 / C-20, isn't it? If so, shouldn't it be identified as "just" a C-Series? -- Last edit: 2015-02-27 00:31:38 |

It is C-10 due to its wheels and suspension system. They are not as beefier as C-20 weight class. |

Sounds more like a guess than a genuine identification ![]() -- Last edit: 2015-02-27 03:40:19 |

Maybe I could help with you about these wheels and suspension system ![]() C-10 series: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:1970_Chevrolet_C10_Pickup.jpg C-20 series: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:1968_Chevy_C20.jpg |

Thanks for your patience ![]() I see the difference when talking about studs or wheel covers, of course, but the "suspension affair" still stays uncertain to me. Most probably just a matter of time... Note that I start to "feel something" about the wheel size, but just as for suspension system, C-10 trucks could apparently have most of the C-20 equipment as option... At the moment, my ability to tell a long C-10 from a C-20 is : small wheels can only be on a C-10, but big ones can be on both models. Am I wrong? But back to "our" truck here. There was no factory-made long C-10 stake (no long ½-ton 1500 stake made by GMC either), so this one can only be made on a chassis + cab basis. As long C-10 chassis + cab truck, it has then a CS/CE10903 Chevrolet internal code. Unless a clue can tell us if it has a six- or an eight-cylinder engine? |

Not a problem, eLMeR ![]() Visiting this site does really enhanced my learning experience than going over these books with pictures. Instead of boring American made cars confined to USA, I look for American made cars outside USA with other countries' add-on ruling. |
