Agreed. But I'd think there was no convertible of the Lark in 1959, and the 1961+ has a different dashboard. Is that correct, Commander57 ? |

Correct no '59 convertibles. I believe this is a '61 owing to what appears to be a trunklid crease, a feature not found on the '60's See this linked photo: http://images.thetruthaboutcars.com/2010/08/CC-13-078-800.jpg |

It appears to me that the dash [among other things, radio placement is lower in '61 and the glove box is moved from center to right side] and the tail light lens [all red - no enclosing "bright" treatment as on a '61] are from a '60 and not a '61. Could this be an example of a '61 deck lid placed on a '60 convertible during restoration / repair? |

Entirely possible, Bobnony. On my screen, I really can't see the taillamps adequately. Quite an excellent observation about the radio and glovebox placement, however. The instrument cluster also looks like the '60 style. Based on your observations, will re-list this as a 1960 and we will assume an incorrect trunk lid was fitted somewhere along the way.
