With the front lights not in the wings (/vehicle_47269-Cadillac-unknown.html), I would say a car from the late 30's. The rear wing makes me think of a 1938 Oldsmobile, but it's just a guess. -- Last edit: 2006-08-14 12:08:36 |

??? The 1938 Oldsmobiles had high mounted taillights on the body belt line .Not visible here.I rather put it as a 1939 GM body , may be Chevrolet Master Sport Coupe or an Oldsmobile 60 or 70 business or club coupe but too few details visible |

When I say it could be a 1938 Oldsmobile, it was just a guess. But I agree with you that it's certainly a GM body of the late 30's, and you must be right about 1939. Now, looking at what could be the right lights, almost above the top of the rear wings on each side, it could be a Chevrolet Master Coupe, as you say. |

Typical late 30s - early 40s Detroit potatoe. |
