Alfa Romeo Dauphine? |

The film locations according to ImdB were in Spain. So that, the Dauphine could be from Renault's subsidiary F.A.S.A which built Dauphine FASA between 1958-1967 (125,912 units). -- Last edit: 2012-01-19 18:27:00 |

but the Fiats were real Fiats and notr Seats... so I am not sure about a F.A.S.A. . Why not a French one ? I am not even sure about an "Alfa" but I don't know them so well. Anyway I think about an Alfa -- Last edit: 2012-01-19 18:54:33 |

Alfa Romeo Dauphine and Ondine had the repeater right on top of the front wheel arch. So rather a FASA built car. 1965 only (Spanish Dauphines got the new indicators only in 1965, until then they still had the C-pillar mounted indicators), and Dauphine indeed (Ondine/Gordini had chrome framed windscreen and rear window), with aftermarket chrome around the door handles. Edit: Why not a French one? Because French Dauphines didn't have the side trim nor the high positioned license plate light holder. -- Last edit: 2012-01-19 19:01:25 |
