It is indeed a 1938 Plymouth two door 5 passenger DeLuxe Touring Sedan (series P-6) .It can be spotted by the hood mascot :the hood mascot ( Plymouth vessel) of the 1938 models was slightly more pointed than on the 1937 cars because the grille extended higher towards the hood.It is not a Roadking : the Roadking designation was intoduced on the lower priced series P-7 of 1939 and was also used on the lower priced series P-9 of 1940. |

You may be right about the Roadking designation. I have read somewhere that the Roadking name appeared during 1938 (to replace Business), but I'm not sure it's right. But anyway you're right, it's a DeLuxe. The Business/Roadking had no deflectors. |
