Second E30 Baur on the site (the first was found by me only a few weeks back and if anyone wants to find a third, one is used prominently in the Bill Forsyth film 'Comfort and Joy'. Good film but I cannot find a good copy ) -- Last edit: 2012-01-15 00:53:02 |

Yes, interesting, but you can see other different (E21) Baur, here -> /vehicle_443352-BMW-3-Targa-E21.html |

There are more E21s listed: /vehicles.php?make=BMW&model=318+Targa+Baur&modelMatch=1&modelInclModel=on http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_222683-BMW-320-Baur-Targa-E21-1981.html /vehicles.php?make=BMW&model=323i+Targa&modelMatch=1&modelInclModel=on The E30s seem thinner on the ground (I also have no idea why some are listed as Targa, Baur Targa or Targa Baur). |

'Targa' is a trademark registered to Porsche since 1970. Officially these conversions were called 'Baur Hardtop-Cabriolet' (E21) and later 'Baur Topcabriolet' (E21, E30, E36). |
