Not as a LHD. I recall there was some Soviet film with trucks disguised as fictional Western brands. Probably a screencap from that movie?

Found it: there was a British company called Dowsett Engineering Construction Ltd, and the logo is a match.

Dowsett Engineering Construction Ltd, later Dow-Mac, made pre-cast concrete pillars and beams for motorway construction.

They were delivered in small numbers (in total - 440 units) for the UK market between 1971-79 and sold through the British dealer UMO (United Machinery Organization) under the BelAZ brand :

They didn't differ much from the Soviet models. The steering wheel and other controls remained as they were, just like on the original models.

Since BelAZ was a completely unknown brand, I half expected them to sell them as Lada trucks like they did with the Aleko here and the Tavria in Chile

Can't find any listing in 1970s Glass's for BelAZ, but they do give an address for UAZ concessionaires as UMO Plant Ltd in Letchworth, Hertfordshire, so confirms something did happen.

^ Lada cars in the 70s were distributed here by Satra Motors in Bridlington, N Yorkshire who also did UK Moskviches.

UMO were already importing BelAZ dump trucks, which is why they decided to rebrand KrAZ trucks as BelAZ.

Translated by Google:
Quote The classic quarry BelAZ-540s were the first Soviet trucks imported by English mining companies from the USSR. The British dealer was so inspired by the marginality of sales of such equipment that he decided to introduce another Soviet brand, KrAZ, to the UK market. Fortunately, the Soviet Union gave such a good discount that even taking into account the "interest" of the local seller, Soviet trucks were cheaper than European ones.

A new name on the market required promotion, which means money and time. Therefore, KrAZ trucks in the British Isles decided to sell under a foreign, but already well-known trademark. The Belarusian Automobile Plant, of course, did not assemble these trucks. I just shared the emblem, although no one in Zhodino was asked about it for sure. Such issues were resolved only in the "high" Moscow offices.

KrAZs in the UK were sold much more than BelAZs. The experience of "badge engineering" turned out to be so successful that the company importing Soviet equipment UMO Plant later began to glue BelAZ emblems even on ... UAZs. And the Soviet Union under the BELAZ brand sold abroad a heavy caterpillar bulldozer DET-250 of the Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant.

I have quite a bit on these in old construction mags.
In UK construction some say they were crap some say they were OK if looked after.
Muckshifting / earthmoving is a very tough game !
