The silver car looks like something very luxurious in the communist era, can anyone identify it? Or is it just a german Ford Taunus? -- Last edit: 2012-09-26 21:59:56 |

Weren't in the 80ies many historic buildings in Bucharest destroyed for the palace of the "Titan of the Titans"? |

I'm not sure if they were really historical but Wikipedia says that the 1977 earthquake destroyed those buildings and they didn't rebuild them because they needed space for the Palace of the Parliament. -- Last edit: 2012-09-26 23:44:40 |

The bluemetallic car in the right background (behind the white Dacia on the right and the red Dacia left), can it be something Western, too? It looks bigger and metllic paint was very unusual for cars from COMECON-countries, especially for those, dedicated to the local markets. |

It's nothing Romanian, that's for sure. |

This might be a subject of your first pics contribution :P - film "Mai presus de orice" - docudrama about the '77 earthquake. Mentioned, as one of the best Romanian films of the 1970s in one book about the film history, but not to get for the foreigner (I tried once in the past). |

Same with me. I'm too lazy and too stupid for that work. And I don't own any HD-technology... |
