W180 or W105? |

I would say 190, as the 220-chrome isn't visible. Unoriginal colour for sure. And a pre-1960 "Schmalkühler", too. What does the missing vents between grille and fenders mean? |

That it's not a [W120/W121] only the [W180/W105] were without them. -- Last edit: 2011-12-21 23:12:04 |

I would say it is a W105, model 219, 1956. The only one with 6 cylinder engine (long blinkers on front fenders) and smaller rear door. Also the plate A219 is quite unmistakable. -- Last edit: 2011-12-22 16:01:53 |

It´s for sure a 219 (W105)...... Some special idents: Only a single chrome bar under the doors, the back doors are from type 180 (W120)- withoutthe small window. Note: The wents intakes are hidden behind the(extra)head lamps. Both 219 (W105) and 220 a/S/SE were equipped with long blinkers. These blinkers were combined turn- and position lights. The foldable sun-roof were extra equipment. Although more or less hidden behind the licensplate, the shape of the front bumpers indicates that this model is after the 1. half of 1957. ...just that I have a model 219 from 1956 |
