The registration number BKR 721 does not belong to this car and has been used on other cars. |

Riley Nine. Possibly a 1931 Gamecock, a 1932 Plus Ultra, or even a late-20s Mk.III. These are the only Riley ragtops I can think of with a near-vertical radiator and this type of screen. |

It is possibly a four seat tourer body either with two or four doors. Unable to tell if the rear seats have their own set of doors but the front doors are cut-away (lower). The bonnet louvres on the sides are set in pairs (front and back) on each side separated by a plain area about 20cm (9in) long, unlike most of the Riley pictures of the early 1930s which have styled continuous louvres almost in a diamond shape similar to the Riley badge. |

In that case, although the bonnet louvres don't match, the closest would be the 1932 Plus Ultra - four-seat tourer with cutaway front doors. It's quite difficult because there were so many varieties of Riley Nine. |
