I would suggest "made for movie", although clearly it started off as some sort of pickup

Is the same vehicle as seen here? http://www.madmaxmovies.com/
They could have re-used some of the earlier movie's vehicles ...

Non... Le premier est un véhicule tout-terrain (ou y ressemble) et le second renversé est un semi-remorque...

My best guess is that it's a Toyota.

Toyota SR-5? Or Maybe it could be an Australian market sedan(maybe a Holden?), with the cover over where the rear doors used to be, because I don't think that there were extra-cabs had had opening doors in the early 80's.

-I did some internet surfing and found an Australian market 1975 Ford LTD. The dash & two spoke steering wheel looked similar to the picture.

True, But it was the chassis though. The body seems to be streamlined like a sedan, not a pickup.
Here's some Photos of an Australian 1973 Ford LTD. The dash looks very similar to the vehicle posted here, even though there are no fenders, doors, molding trim that could give us some sort of an indication. Also the rear end seems to have been cut off to the C-pillars. So, the dash and the B-pillars is the only true evidence. And I think there are some similarities

Call me crazy, But I think its a Australian 1973 Ford LTD on a modified Ford F-150 4x4 Chassis; just Pimped out a little.

Looks like an Australian-assembled Toyota Landcruiser to me.

I've long felt the the roof reminded me of the V8 Interceptor.

Here is a really good photo of this freaking awesome truck and by the way according to the Mad Max Wikia the cab of the Camel Wagon is from a Ford XB sedan http://madmax.wikia.com/wiki/The_Camel_Wagon
