over advertising livery - most of this group of buses were in advertising liveries.....
because of their shape they were known as "Breadvans". We have bus No 397, of this group
in our collection. Fleet numbers were from 282 to 397 - 16 in total. In service 1967
to late 1980's.

We supply vehicles from our fleet to Movie makers. The NZ film Bread and Roses features
our No 95 - an ex Railways Thornycroft. I drove our trolley bus 39 in a film called
Christmas Oratorio. Our bus 322 was used in a German movie shot in NZ - can't remember
its name. Other units of our fleet have been used in various advertisements and TV
programmes.

Department- just South of the Lambton Quay intersection.
