Someone has to get a picture! It might be possible to get it off of YouTube. It is a 1989 Ford Tempo, GL if I remember right. It gets three stars. It dies eventually when this woman uses it as a demolition car against the Mustang.

Youtube's quality isn't very good, but it would be pretty easy to get a picture from there

I remember that video. It was quite funny. I remember that at the time I saw it, I recognized the Mustang, but not the Tempo (as it was before IMCDb, and before Explorer4x4's coming).
I think that I have a much better version that Youtube quality. I will check that tomorrow.

Just saw the video. I could imagine Explorer4x4 doing the same thing if someone dented his Tempo! I can't remember Lois driving a Tempo, unless that is some kind of flashback. I didn't see that episode.

I probably would. That or get the shovel out of my trunk so it won't hurt my car, but will hurt the a$$-hole who dared touch my car.

Mind you anyone who acts like the Mustang-driving woman in that scene deserves a good smack.

I once found a massive scratch and dent with red paint on the door of my car once, when i got back from the supermarket. Some people are just lovely.

It's terrible, I'm always careful when I get out of a car, I don't just fling the door open. Although it can be a bit of a squeeze in a lot parking spaces in England.

Totally agree! And it seems people are less careful for older cars like Tempos and Corsicas. Once, our old housekeeper was parked next to a big truck (like a F-350 or 3500) at a Super Stop & Shop and when she came back, there was a hug dent and scratch on her fender. She found the person, got her money and yelled at him.

I'm also careful when I am opening a car (or bus) door, my Mom trained us "Don't just open your door, be careful".

Bummer, did you see what car? I mean, did you see the car when you entered the parking spot?

You know, if you get even a glimpse of the car, we could probably find them as we have got practice on identifying cars from IMCDb!

The Family of Malcom get the Tempo I think when Louis sell the Dynasty for a ticket trip to Afganistan to rescue Reesee, and when they back, I think the family bought the Tempo for a least 300 dolars, and before the demolition derby, Hal trying to drive that Tempo the car just didn´t start and many strong mens pull the Tempo

No sadly, i can't remember. Although there is an old Vectra thats always dented near me..and it's red!
Even so, i have even more of a vendetta against the local garbage men. Once, the idiot on the back waved me past, only for the driver to move out into the road without indicating (or looking, probaly) so i very nearly hit this truck, and end up swerving into some kind of heavy duty bin. some very nice dents from that. My advice, if you want to keep the Tempo mint, avoid the garbage men at all costs :D

:p No, the Tempo could be repaired (as at the end, it received nothing compared to the crappy Mustang).

Also, why the hell do all the (I won't call them stupid) administrators delete my comments? The reason I do not take this to the forum is because nobody ever goes on there.

They were not deleted, just put on an archive page, separated from this one. But in this case they were still related and not very much off-topic (for one time...), so I put them back here.

The Tempo could be repaired, yes, but due to its sale value it has probably not been done...

There is another episode in which Hal has a red G3 Tempo with what looks like every option. He gets in a car chase with a bee with it, and later wrecks it when driving it into a wall to kill the bee that he believes was stalking him.

Not an LX; the inside of the door panel was too plain. Like mine, second-generation LXs had woodgrain & cloth trim on the inner door panels.

It was just a GL.

EDIT; Here's the clip (the one originally posted was removed); http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFpLb2Svluw&feature=related
