By the livery it looks like a BBC Outside Broadcast van from the late 1960s.

1963 BBC TV Mobile Control Room (MCR)

Yes, Bedford TK I believe.

I have seen other BBC OB vans based on the TK chassis and the cab-before-engine layout plus the grille size and location are typical of the TK chassis.

Almost certainly the vehicle was new 1963.

This BBC Bedford TK in The Goodies - /vehicle.php?id=602731 - is a 1963 plate 380 EXH; when I googled that number, the first entry was the Dr Who facebook page https://en-gb.facebook.com/DoctorWho but I can't work out why.

I can confirm that this vehicle is definately not a Bedford TK. It is, however, a Commer, probably a type C, four camera Mobile Control Room supplied to the BBC by Pye TVT not earlier than 1962. Some sources state that the bodywork is by Marshall, but I am still trying to find confirmation of that.

It is one of the ten vehicles numbered MCR19-28 that the BBC acquired in anticipation of the start of BBC2 and its 625 line service in 1964. Some of the ten survived long enough to be repainted into the BBC colour livery.

Unfortunately I can't read the numbers on the drivers' door in the picture above, but if anyone is able to find a clearer copy, the first line should be a three digit number followed by C and the second number reads MCR followed by a number between 19 and 28. From the the fleet number it should then be possible to work out the registration of the vehicle.

Looks to me to be MCR 28 or 29

Another possible identification as a Commer C762 chassis with petrol engines, bodied by Marshall with cameras and electronics supplied by PYE TVT...
