Gag Halfrunt ◊ 2006-08-02 03:05	There's a 323 in another Polizeiruf 110 episode: vehicle_38797-Mazda-323-BD-1982.html Citation Not unfamiliar in the DDR, there where some western cars which where imported to the DDR in the late seventies, earlie eighties. Among those where VW Golf, Mazda 323, Volvo 242 and Citroën GSA Pallas. They where imported to make the looks of the street scenery of East Berlin more international. Most where sold to party members...

jplemoine ◊ 2006-08-02 09:31	Les premières Mazda traction avant, appelées FF pour les différencier des anciens modèles propulsion. Petit gag au passage (j'en ai eu une, de ces Mazda, en version Berlina): quand on oublie les phares allumés après avoir coupé le contact, sur une voiture "normale", on entend une espèce de Bip-bip aggressif, ou pire une voix de synthèse qui vous rappelle à l'ordre. Point de ces usages ici: nous sommes dans une voiture japonaise. On entend une petite clochette, façon jardin zen... C'est bien la seule chose que je regrette vraiment de cette Mazda (au demeurant, une bonne voiture, mais banale à crever d'ennui...)

DIEHARD ◊ 2006-08-02 18:39	It states that it was his 'Dienstwagen', which more or less means it was government owned. I don't think all the high party members drove a CX. The ironi of it is that his last CX Limousine was completed in 1989, which means he had not much time to enjoy that for long....
