Reference to Christine One of the characters of this episode is a young man named "Stephen"; and Sam makes a reference to "Christine" without knowing that Stephen's last name was "King" -- Last edit: 2006-07-30 22:22:33 |

Would it be reasonable to assume this is probably one of the cars left over from the John Carpenter film, yes? |

Im not sure there were any survivors from that movie, lol |

The movie did not use all the Fury produced. So the highest probability is that this one was restored after the movie. Like for Back to the Future with the DeLorean, the movie "Christine" probably saved a lot of Plymouth Fury: this car was more wanted for restoration than other similar ones. -- Last edit: 2007-01-30 10:32:04 |

There are two known right now the Moochie Chaser and the Camero Killer, one of them is getting a restore right now because they let her be in a movie then the movie people messed up in some places. |

Actually, though, it's not a Fury. For one, Fury's technically were only made in a creamy white color for 1956-58, and they all had anodized gold side trim. Those are two factors that point this out as a 1958 Plymouth Belvedere. |

IIRC this car and its actions are supposed to be the inspiration for christine. although sam doesn't realize it until the end that he lept into an author who knew steven "stevie" king |

I doubt it is one of the Plymouth "Fury"s made for Christine. Check out the side mirror. There is only one. The cars in Christine had a mirror on each side. I doubt something like that would go un-noticed in the feature film. Also, this car does not appear to have the Fury style bumper extensions on the front. -- Last edit: 2009-10-03 04:37:46 |
