Could this be Chevrolet Metro? |

No, it's a Cavalier. Red bowtie MIGHT signify Z24 model. |

I thought about that too |

Definitely a 2000-02 model, though. Still not sure on Z24 or not. |

yes red bowtie (although this one is placed to high on the hood) and fog lamps indicate Z24 |

Not necessarily. The LS Sport introduced with the 2.2 Ecotec for 2002 also had the red bowtie and fog lamps. |

Exactly, that's why I wasn't 100% sure, because I knew this also existed. |

I was thinking that the LS Sport got the lower valance on the front bumper that the Z24 didn't have but looking through google it seems that both LS Sport and Z24 could be purchased with or without it. (my brochure collection only goes up to 1999 for the Cavalier so I couldn't check) |

Hmm... never noticed that lower valence difference before. It could have been an option or a 2002 change. Looking back at pictures of my 2001 Z24, it didn't have that lower valence. It could also be a possibility that the lower valence piece has fallen off of this car. I'm fairly certain that yellow was a new color for the Cavalier for 2002. |
