"Cutlass" can be read on the badge, but the rest is too blurry for me: |

Yes, Cutlass Ciera. |

The badge reads Cutlass Ciera SL I am sure Ciera guy will be able to narrow down the year all I know is that it is no newer than 1995 and no older than 1990 -- Last edit: 2011-09-22 15:20:27 |

With non-color coordinated side trim and no "C" pillar emblem, we can take out 1993-1996. Narrows it down to '89 to '92. Would need to see the taillamp lenses to further narrow it. |

No scene available showing the taillamps...but here's a shot of the upholstery. |

Does that help anyone? I have no source on upholstery patterns for the different years. How about the shoulder harness attachment? |

Like I already said it is no older than 1990, before 1990 the seatbelts were not door mounted... 2004 Jeep Liberty Sport in the background. -- Last edit: 2011-09-22 19:48:51 |

Actually, it is 1993 or 1995 (1994's were only found in S trim) because the older Cieras had black trim on the front bumer like this one: http://www.mtmusedcars.com/search/images/1/322599TM-1.jpg Also, it's the older cars that have the emblem on the C pillar. -- Last edit: 2011-09-22 23:44:37 |

Sorry, I said that backwards. Should have said: "With non-color coordinated side trim and no "C" pillar emblem, we can take out 1989 to 1992. Narrows it down to '93 to '95." |

Tyrus's Cutlass also seen parked outside the meth lab/industrial laundromat in Ep. 4.12 They're seen here in the above shot. Also seen in the season finale Ep. 4.13 -- Last edit: 2012-02-23 22:20:07 |

I can say definitively that this is a 1995. You can see in numerous pictures here that it is equipped with daytime running lights, which GM cars in America were first featured in the 1995 model year. And since the badging says "Cutlass Ciera" and not "Ciera", it can't be a 1996 which was the last year of production. |

^false, as this has them: /vehicle_55731-Oldsmobile-Cutlass-Ciera-1993.html |

The car in that picture has its full headlight system on, as the parking lamps are illuminated as well. In the shot of the Cutlass Ciera from episode 4.13 above only the low-beam headlights are lit while it's running, which is how the Daytime Running Lamps worked on this model. |

Good to know. (And I can confirm my '94 Cutlass Ciera does not have the DRL's.) |
