No hood ornament and painted headlamp rims would indeed indicate a Champion Custom. Can't quite tell if this car has a hood ornament or not but the rims do appear painted. Fender top ornaments were standard on State trimmed Commanders and Commander Land Cruisers but were optional on Regal trimmed Commanders and all Champion models. Since this car has the APPEARANCE of being a Custom Champion I will so list but it might just be another model with incorrectly painted over headlamp rims. |

Interesting link, Gag. If that's the same car, it has the painted headlamp rims of a Champion Custom but has a hood ornament (which Custom trimmed models did not have) and has the rocker trim of a Champion Regal. The bright rear door stone guard is incorrect for any Champion model other than the convertible. No other Champion model had that feature from the factory. I suspect this is a Champion Regal that someone painted over the headlamp rims, then added a bright stone guard from a Commander State or a Land Cruiser. |

I'm sure that it is the same car. The number of classic cars in South Korea is very small, and other old cars seen in this film are also owned by Kumho Classic Car. |
