During the time of this video, i'd seen this actual car pass me (two times, on separate occasions) on Norwood High Street (Lambeth, south London), close to where I was living ;)

Missing quite a bit of trim to be a Galaxie. Also it appears the side marker lights have been painted over; could it be an export version?

Technically this was released by "The Timelords", who are indeed Bill Drummond and Jimmy Cauty, known as "The KLF", also known as "The Justified Ancients Of MuMu", furthermore known as "The JAMS". In popular culture, this car is indeed referred to and known as "Ford Timelord", which was also mentioned on the record sleeve.

Merged with vilero's entry "The KLF: Doctorin' the Tardis, Music Video, 1988"

StarCar wrote This car was shipped to england to be used in the Film Superman as parts were filmed in England.
There is a good replica of this car out there somewhere but sadly this one ended its days in the bushes..

DaveThePieman wrote The original Timelord was owned by Jimmy Cauty having originally been a Bluesmobile replica owned by an artist called Flinton Chalk - he bought it from Pinewood Studios after it was used in the Superman film. It appeared in most of the band's music videos and projects but eventually became too rotten to use (it was pretty much finished off when they drove it to Spain to try and make a road movie called "The White Room"). It sat outside Jimmy's place for a few months before someone bought it and banger raced it in 1991. There are two very impressive replicas on the road in the UK today.

Gag Halfrunt wrote It was used in Superman IV.

This is one Extended cut from the movie.
You can see a 68 Ford Galaie in the background at 0:30. I find a Bloggerpost where the write point out that the Galaxie in the background, is in fact the Original Timelord Galaxie.

3933cc indicates it has the 240 cubic inch "Big Six" six-cylinder, the standard (and smallest available) engine in 1968 Ford fullsize models.
