The badge on the left of the trunklid is 4 digits, inconsistent with S65. Are we sure it's an AMG? |

No sunroof. That's odd. |

Why odd? Some people, who like to drive as fast as possible, waive deliberately the sunroof and other extra options, because they push up the weight of the car. For tall persons a car without sunroof is more comfortable, because there's more space above the head. Indeed a reason for me with my 1.88m, always to buy sunroofless cars. Annother disadvantages of a sunroof is, that, if they are broken, it's always a disgusting effort to fix them, as well waterproof as durable. A leaking sunroof sucks and causes rust at parts of the cars, which aren't easy to reach. So for me a sunroof is an absolutey unneccessary, useless and even annoying extra |

@ingo: My sister has got a VW Polo 6N with a -literally translated- folding sunroof: http://www.polobladers.com/Polo6NModelle_OpenAir.JPG It´s really nice actually, cause a lot of air flows through the car. And her children love this feature very much But all other sunroofs are rubbish, as you´ve said. The most useless sunroof has got my neighbour in his 2011 Nissan Qashqai (the one who had the Subaru Forester LPG ;D): It´s a panoramic roof, which you can´t open. And on sunny days it´s quite hot, if the glare shield is open. Unfortunately the roof was standard. |

Thats nice of MB to have a sunroof delete option. I'm 5'11 and a half and in my third sunroof-equipped car in a row. The compromised headroom is an annoyance to me, but I guess I'm not tall enough for it to be a deal-breaker. |
