1992-1997, impossible to tell closer from this angle |

1992. Flat black 'B' and 'C' pillars |

That actually doesn't explain anything as the flat black B and C pillars have been offered on Crown Victorias every year since 1992 up to the present day. |

He is correct. My "civvie" 1995 'Vic has the flat black B & C posts. It's also a 1992-94 in the pic, there was a difference on the dash 1992-94,and I can see just enough to tell. |

What was the difference with the dash? I know that 1996 was the first year that they stopped having the "wood" panel on the dash. |

The newest ones have body colored pillars. |

I was referring to the dash as Buc84 mentioned. And some newer Crown Victorias still have a black pillar on them, it's an option. |

Actually,it was in 1995,which was the year the present style dash came out,the easy to tell differences are the placement of the optional "wood"(92-94 above vents,1995-07 it's below them)and the placement & style of it's AC/Heat controls and radio. Also think headlight switch is different as well. -- Last edit: 2007-07-13 03:25:00 |

I could have sworn it was 1996. One other thing also is the steering wheel, which was different in the '96-'97. And the seats changed too, but that's a different story. |
