Cool. Now we need to be sure of the model.

It appears that the Centurion used the larger trunk key surround.

It looks like a Centurion.

But,
The LeSabre on the link you showed has incorrect trim (Electra 225 emblems, including the trunk key cover) and incorrect grille from a Centurion...

This is a '72 Lesabre trunk emblem:

Other differences from the rear: 1972 LeSabres have a Buick emblem on the right side of their trunk door, Centurion have a Buick emblem on the chrome trim of their left taillight (and Centurion on the right taillight)

Thumbrial, please!

How could I create a thumbnail from a picture from another website?

I wish all pics were much bigger on this website! Many post useless thumbnails which can't be opened in a larger format and even the larger pics are often having too low resolution. We aren't in 1995 anymore!

PhilR, your photo looks like a '71.
The '72's had rubber bumper moulding:

Of course, the moulding could have just come off.

Sorry about that, should have read the comments first here's some good pictures: http://www.carsforsale.com/used_cars_for_sale/1972_Buick_Lesabre_135761929
We seem to have established the difference between the base Lesabre, Lesabre Custom, and Centurion trunk key; the car in question is a Centurion.

The one you posted is from Photobucket, there should be an album showing list of pictures. Select one of the picture and there should be list of link method. Select the one that you can copy as thumbnail.

Antoine, can you explain that? It's not like if we were confronted to an act of god, death or something like that...
Most of the images on this site would have been adequate in the mid eighties but they are way too small for current computer screens, current internet connections that most users of this site are expected to have. I know that some people still don't have access to high speed connections but they are fewer each year and pictures on this site still need to be larger... And the sooner, the better! And since they are mostly hosted by other free hosting servers, I don't see what's the big deal for the site maintenance.

I hope things will change soon... But I'm not the one who will change that!

Some of the rubber mouldings are gone on the one I showed, but you can still see the mounting holes for them in the bumper (and the rubber is still there around the license plate).

When a picture takes the whole screen it requires to scroll more to read comments, and allows to less easily check through the text of a page for a quick read. For me clickable thumbnails are better than full size pictures, as most of the time (i.e. for most of the visits) it is not useful to see the whole pic... then it can be opened when needed.

I agree completely with antp.
