1947-1955 Chevrolet "Advance Design" Pick-Up Series, Step Side body, but I can not precisely identify the version. |

All pickups of that period would've been considered "Stepsides" by today's standards. This is more than likely a 1/2 ton model, so that makes it a 3100. |

Light- or medium-duty pickup from the 1947-55 Advance-Design trucks line, with the 1947-53 cab. But with no better view of the bed, it's hard to tell a 3100 from a 3600, here: is there a second vertical reinforcement bar in front of the rear fender, which would indicate the 125¼"/3.18 m wheelbase of the ¾-ton 3600 model? It seems to have a 1951+ vent window (see on the driver's door) and the 1952+ "push button" door system. But Stepside was a name used only from 1958 onward, so it should not appear here. ⇒ 1952 Chevrolet Advance-Design (without Stepside) -- Last edit: 2015-01-28 03:38:21 |
