Ward body company. Not sure of the engine, it says 4900 (International 4900) but it looks too round for that. I noticed school busses are listed wrong on this site, a bus with a front by say international and a body by say blue bird manufactuing would just be listed as "International 4900" but shouldnt the body company be listed too? As in "International/Blue Bird 4900" ? |

Currently it depends on the case. For the buses that are sold as a new make with all the commercial stuff that goes with it (like the belgian Vanhool make, or most of the motorhomes) we use the body maker name. For the other we use the base name. For Blue Bird we have both cases on the site ![]() |

The engine is a 261 "Stovebolt" Heavy Duty "Jobmaster" straight 6, A V8 engine wouldn't be available 'till '55. |
