Hmm. Could this be a small dozer like a Clark? Or could be Australian? -- Last edit: 2014-02-21 06:13:24 |

A Clark dozer would have just a little bucket seat. This is bigger than a Clark. Which leaves it suspected as a Cat D4 or smaller? |

The hood and cowl remind me of Allis-Chalmers HD10W. http://olive-drab.com/od_mvg_vehicle_id_bulldozers_ww2.php |

so you made up your mind ? Allis or CAT ? have you found a crawler with same track chassis and same box near the seat ? one of the very few crawlers left unsolved -- Last edit: 2014-02-22 14:52:05 |

I say it's Allis-Chalmers because it has a cowl and no other make of crawler has a cowl. As for whether it's a HD-7W or HD-10W, I say HD-7W, because it's my impression it's not a large crawler and it has only one air cleaner. |
