Lagonda Mark ◊ 2011-11-27 20:51	Yes a Mark One which had a recessed front grille. My father had this exact model with same standard duotone colour (i.e. a black roof). It never went wrong and it is so impressed on my childhood memory I can remember the c.1960 registration number: 347 VPJ (before year letters came in due to massive expansion of UK car ownership in 1960s exhausting the system). With no boot/trunk the A40 was an innovative hatchback design by Farina way before it caught on. A humble presence in the world of movies but nice to see it namechecked on this super website!
