Seems all the pictures of 385's that I find have an air vent on the side of the hood. Is that right? (this one doesn't have it, so 377 I presume) |

1987 to about 1991 Peterbilt 377 AE. This one looks built around the same time as the Peterbilt 377 from Breakdown. |

This is an early '90s Peterbilt that was bought new by Dalton Trucking in Fontana, CA. I believe there were a couple of them in the fleet (##s 141-143 maybe?) They were sold new with no exhaust stack, and partial fairing around the fuel tanks. They were transfer dump setups with a full transfer trailer. I believe one might have been altered for use in the movie by Dalton, as a part of it being sold off, but my memory is hazy. I believe they were 377s |
