Any clue where and when? Interesting registration with high number. Is the bloke on the bike about to overtake them - is it footage of the 1905-ish Tour de France!?!? |

I don´t know, they just say that the world changes with the invention of the car and the plane, I think they mentioned the year 1913. |

![]() Hmmm, IE was for the Provinz Brandenburg ( Link to "de.wikipedia.org" ), the location is for sure not there, it was rather in the Alps. The car was not Opel-owned, as it would have "VR" for Rheinhessen then. The Opel-plant in Brandenburg was built in 1935, so decades later. And, even back then, company-owned test- and presentation-cars had mostly these red plates, the number starting with "0", as it's usual in Germany all the times until now. dsl is right, the number is quite high, especially for the sparsely populated and rather poor Brandenburg. Especially if you look for the fact, that the car itself is surely pre-1910 -in Germany license plates were issued since 1906- it makes the strong impression, that it's a faked pre-WWI-pic from the 20ies or 30ies. Haircut and hat of the lady on the left back seats doesn't look like from the Kaiser Wilhelm-times neither. |
