The 3rd car involved in the disaster was Lance Macklin's Austin-Healey 100. Presumably Levegh's Mercedes 300 SLR, Hawthorn's D-type and a third car (identified as Kieft on separate page). The 3rd car involved in the disaster was Lance Macklin's Austin-Healey 100. Several online sources - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1955_Le_Mans_disaster seems as good as any.
