Tail lights and chrome headlight surround mean 1959+ and look accurate despite the other ... um ... refinements. Interesting plate info - HK is Essex issue and date is a month or two before the 1959 facelift, so probably started life as a Ford launch car. -- Last edit: 2011-04-20 19:59:26 |

Not needed here but have just found a forum site full of period pictures of 56-62 Consul/Zephyr/Zodiac. Lots of unusual stuff including Aus brochures and Antwerp-assembled with unique side chrome Link to "forum.love-fords.org" . |

This car was painted and modified by my grandfather and uncle for the tv show.he had to lay on the back seat during filming as the lads driving it were under 18 and the insurance company wouldn't cover it without someone there for emergencies |
