Just a bit off topic, but...that boat in this shot is a collectable in it's own right. This is a classic example of a "60's-ish" inboard flatbottom boat used for water skiing or racing.I can't decipher the manufacturer from this shot. It is not sitting on a boat trailer, probably just a lightweight "dolly trailer" for the shot. All of the hull's hardware, ( rudder, propshaft, propeller, cavitation plates, automotive V-8 engine, seating, etc, has been removed ), and unless the two exhaust holes in the transom (rear)of the hull were filled by the film crew, this hull had a set of headers going over the back previously. It's finish is moulded into the fibreglass gel-coat in orange metalflake, with a white deck....very sixties.
Finding a complete, unmolested sixties flatbottom, these days, can be worth more than the '66 Mustang Coupe that's pulling it.
