Mmm... can't say I'm impressed. The BBC certainly didn't waste any money here. What's the sketch? |

It only appears for about 20 seconds anyway. It's the sketch where this guy tries to make a program where he makes everyone in Belgium a cup of tea (probably a satire of programs like "Are You Dave Gorman?"). -- Last edit: 2011-04-08 00:38:07 |

Ok thanks. I tried watching this program many times, but David Mitchell is much too whiny... although he is funny. |

He tends to do his whining (or comic rants) more on the panel shows he's in (and the internet series "David Mitchell's Soap Box"), here he plays various characters in sketches. This series is OK but I think Peep Show is definitely Mitchell and Webb's best work. -- Last edit: 2011-04-08 00:47:50 |

This car's livery seems pretty close to cars like this: http://homepage.gms.lu/~schoentg/mono01.jpg Did the Belgian police redesign their livery? -- Last edit: 2011-04-08 00:48:29 |

Not in a while... That looks completely foreign to me. Scroll through this thread for plenty of examples: http://www.autoforum.be/showthread.php?t=33775&page=19 |

Well this seems to be the livery Belgian police cars had 10-15 years ago (judging by the age of the cars I've seen that have it). Maybe this was once a real Belgian police car (notice it's LHD) -- Last edit: 2011-04-08 01:17:17 |

I seriously doubt it. The old designs had a blue stripe down the middle (regular police) or a red stripe (rijkswacht/gendarmerie). Now joined together into the federal police. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xvvb9Hl7yeQ Anyway I'm not that police minded. But I do remember 10-15 years ago. -- Last edit: 2011-04-08 01:26:22 |
