That is atrocious, barbarous, cruelly, horrible, ferocious, savage!! How can one do this to a lovely, innocent little Landy! |

...one thing ...even after the attack...it still looks as though it's in one piece (Not so badly damaged)...and repairable.!? (I wonder if it still lives.? ..i've not checked the number plate with the dvla.!) -- Last edit: 2006-06-20 14:26:51 |

The DVLA seems to be down at the moment, but you might be right. A Land-Rover is hard to kill. It is a Land-Rover 80" Series I. To tell the exact year is a bit difficult, probably 1950/51. The rear lights were added later and look like 'Della Red Beakon' that were only fitted on some 1957 models. |

Sad to see cars like Jeeps, Willys-Overlands and Land-Rovers go to waste... My Grandpa has at least 5 Jeeps/Willys from the 1940's and 50's and one hardly recognizable Land Rover from I think the 60's. All of them were vandelized after be replaced by my Grandpa's new fleet of CJ-7s and Wranglers and were evetnually crushed. Sad. -- Last edit: 2006-06-20 14:40:39 |
